Eric Cartman sings the hit pop song, " Poker Face ", by Lady Gaga, which is he uses to insult Stan and his whale saving mission by changing the words. This later inspired a release of the full song as sung by Cartman that is featured as downloadable content for the Rock Band video game, which was released in March 16, 2010.

In some ways I think this episode might be funnier if you are familiar with the show Whale Wars, even cursorily, the truly bizarre storyline should be entertaining for everyone who enjoys South Park. Cartman's rendition of Lady Gaga's "Poker Face" is perhaps the funniest thing I have heard in ages and could easily earn this episode a 9/10 for that alone.
